Revised Model Sheet

I worked out a few more details on Lou. I think this is good enough to start modeling him. I think I am planning to try and change the mesh on an existing rig and set up more own facial rig. Or maybe theres a way I can use the existing mesh to drive my mesh...I guess i'll just have to do some experimenting and figure out what we'll make my life easier. Anyway, just thought I'd show the revised model sheet.

I like what your working with but don't be so set on the character that you have drawn as people have said about the story it just doesn't feel like this guy is a mobster. Your drawings are good but you still haven't gone far enough with the idea of really making this character out there and fitting to the idea that you have with the story. Make the character resemble something that he is not, make him this character that is really out there and show us this gangster that you want us to see, this character that you have is really not looking like a thug or a gangster at all. He looks more like a person who is one of those annoying big city sidewalk artist who couldn't find a talent. I'm serious when i say that you need to think this guy out really hard and look at that research that will help us understand your mental view of how this character is suppose to look. Because right now it seems to me that you are assuming we are on the same page as you are. Go to different websites that make characters for movies, look up art from local artist. Even go as far as looking to a comic book artist because they are always on the cutting edge on how to illustrate and show a character that fits the personality. SO far this character is not fitting the personality that you see this guy having. So do research until your eyes bleed if you have to and work to make sure that this character is something that the audience will like and see right from the start as somebody who is suppose to be bad. This story here doesn't support a weak character it supports a strong character that is at the end of his rope and decides to defy the world one last time. This character that you have created looks like he has come out of the ICU. Again this is not to be cruel but you are working on two different ideas that aren't matching at all when it comes to final product.
